About NAD+
A small human pilot study examined what happened to NAD+ and its breakdown products in blood and urine during an infusion. It studied how the body processed NAD+, rather than whether people felt more energetic or aged more slowly.
The body’s need for NAD+ does not establish that taking more improves fatigue, cognition or longevity. Those outcomes were not demonstrated by this pilot.
